The Thermic Flight

The Thermic Flight Paraglide is for those who want a little more adventure. Launching later in the day than a Basic  Flight, the Thermic Paraglide gives you a taste of the real adventure of paragliding. It involves thermaling, which is catching the warm rising air currents and thus gaining height. Expect to climb to altitudes above 1200 metres sea level (conditions dependent) and then glide to the landing paddock. The Thermic Paraglide will last about 30 minutes.

Of course, it is always dependent on conditions as to where it is possible to fly. Your pilot will discuss potential routes and locations with you on the day.

Our pilots are all fully qualified and highly experienced. Your safety and enjoyment are assured when you fly with us.

If you are lucky with the conditions you may be able to soar with an Eagle or even get close to the clouds.

Your flight includes a detailed briefing that will prepare you for your flight.  During the flight your pilot instructor will talk to you and explain what is going on.

For many people this is the first step into the magical world of flight, once they have experienced it, many people realize that they want to learn to fly themselves.
