The Thermic Flight
The Thermic Flight Paraglide is for those who want a little more adventure. Launching later in the day than a Basic Flight, the Thermic Paraglide gives you a taste of the real adventure of paragliding. It involves thermaling, which is catching the warm rising air currents and thus gaining height. Expect to climb to altitudes above 1200 metres sea level (conditions dependent) and then glide to the landing paddock. The Thermic Paraglide will last about 30 minutes.
We will meet you at Mystic Flight Park, the paraglider landing field. From there you will be taken on a scenic 4 WD trip to launch location approximately a 10 minute drive.

Days Of Operation
We operate 7 days a week from early September to end of May.(excl X-Mas) Flights over winter may be possible but need to be arranged by phone
Weather Conditions
Safety is our main priority, so we will only conduct our flights with favourable flying conditions. Some flexibility may be required on flight timings to suit weather conditions. We will try to fit in with your schedule as best as possible.
What To Expect
Allow 1 hr for the experience.
A waiver is required to be completed prior to the experience & passengers under 18 years old require a guardian to co sign the waiver.
Bring comfortable warm clothing & enclosed shoes.
Glasses & sunglasses can be worn.
Restrictions
Passenger weight up to 105kg.( There is some flexibility but this will be dependant on flying conditions. Please contact us to discuss if more than 105kg)
Minimum age is 10 years old
Cancellations
Bookings that are cancelled due to weather conditions are fully refundable or can be rescheduled. For customer cancellation, a minimum of 24 hour notice is required to receive a refund.
